The company was founded by Leo Dauenhauer after he discovered that glass with hardness similar to lead crystal makes an exceptional putter head.

The glass putter's hardness and durability enables an incredibly soft putt for distance control and accuracy. Furthermore, a patent has been filed for the process of making the glass head perfectly center balanced to provide a pendulum swing for better accuracy.
